Charmane Bunch from Denver East High School

Crowley College Prep Scholarship Recipient

Many factors have kept me motivated to pursue a higher level of  education.  Those factors range from making my family proud, achieving  my dreams and the feeling of knowing that you have accomplished your  dreams.  The main factor of motivation comes from watching how hard my  mother works and the determination she has to provide a good life for  my brothers and myself.  All of my life she has been in school to  pursue a higher level of education, and now she is to the point of  working towards her Ph.D.  My mother provides the perfect example of  how important a higher level of education is; which I realize that not  many people have the advantage of having when it comes to having a  parent who has went to college.
