Madison Duke from Denver East High School

Crowley College Prep Scholarship Recipient

“Being conservative in my attitude has impacted my overall speech.  I  do not use foul language, I do not have the need for using curse words everywhere I go and with everything I do.  During school I hear curse words repeatedly from students, friends and even teachers.  There are even curse words in the books we read that are required reading approved by the school board.  This includes the movies we watch in class too, but I still do not find the need to use them because I can express myself well using real language.”
