The boys2MEN Leadership Programs

The boys2MEN Programs are created to build CONFIDENCE, TRUST & SELF ESTEEM. With events/workshops held throughout the year, our mentors/facilitators lead each session. Using our own curriculum, we have open and honest dialogue which allows us to connect and meet students where they are at and truly assess the need(s). We partner with professional therapist and counselors to provide quality service for our families!

Programs We offer

boys2MEN Leadership Summit - Now accepting applicants for Summer 2024, apply here

Crowley Foundation collaborated with the University of Colorado in Boulder to launch the first retreat in June, 2015 hosting 20 young men. The initial session was three days and has now grown into a week-long segment that accommodates 35 young men. Our 6 mentors play an integral part in the success of the summit; they must represent the core values of the organization. The participants are paired into brotherhoods and given the theme of the summit and their component to create a presentation for the end of the week. Over the course of the week, each session is a building block to equip them for their presentation and to strengthen their bond as a brotherhood. The outcome is unparalleled. The Leadership Summit has become the most treasured program for the young men.

boys2MEN Fall Workshop

The Fall Workshop is held in November and connects communities and surrounding states (Oklahoma and Kansas) to encounter a high energy, inspirational power house workshop. This workshop is the heartbeat of our organization. We have consistently hosted over 100+ young men from grades 8th to college students. The boys2MEN program provides free education and empowerment curriculum that is designed to teach social and emotional skills and offer mentoring opportunities to young men. We offer ongoing access to positive male leadership and seek to inspire young men to realize their potential.

Relationship Series

We recognized that there was a disconnect between our parents and students and out of conversations, we decided to try this series. Parent’s participation is mandatory and we discuss issues and topics that will help build healthy relationships amongst both child and parent. This was introduced as a pilot with topics such as: Lifelong Coping, Healthy Foundations and Values Matter to name a few. We quickly learned that the demand for these conversations were extremely high. We hope to expand this into a year-round program that will engage parents and help families become stronger.

Career Workshops

Created from conversations with our young men, we have partnered with agencies and organizations to introduce our young men to various career fields that they typically would not have access to. Previous workshops have included: Medical, Dental, Aviation & Legal. We are looking to expand this by introducing a larger variety of careers such as barber trade and graphic design and more.

After School Programming

We currently partner with Denver, Aurora, Cherry Creek Public Schools and UME Prep Academy (Dallas) to deliver programming to young men of color. This programming is vital to building and sustaining relationships with schools, but most importantly maintains a presence and strengthens trust and loyalty among students.

One-on-One Mentoring

Understanding the problem of having NO pool of influential mentors, our mentors are products of our program so the ability to “buy in” is a no brainer. We have created a pool of local, regional and national mentors ready to step in and provide guidance and build relationships with young men!
